Hi, I'm Gina Brelesky
I'm an author, talent development coach, and corporate educator whose passion is in the area of building resilience.
A Few Words About Me
In the field of leadership enhancement, my work is grounded in a blend of academic excellence and practical experience. Leveraging two master’s degrees in Public Administration and Education, alongside a certificate in Resilient Leadership from the University of Maryland, I’m deeply invested in advancing leadership in Nonprofits & Social Responsibility. My collaboration with resilience expert Dr. George Everly Jr. on a children's book about resilience speaks volumes about my commitment to fostering strong, adaptable leaders. Having survived an active shooter event and having been present in New York City on 9/11, I've developed a profound appreciation for resilience and the human spirit. My 2012 work with the Royal Jordanian Government, helping people with disabilities transition into community living, exemplifies my dedication to social equity.
As a certified DISC and DDI facilitator, I approach leadership with a deep understanding of human dynamics. This approach was instrumental in boosting the Net Promoter Score at a struggling medical center by over 400%. Through training hundreds of managers, I've witnessed the profound impact effective leadership can have on reducing turnover, boosting team morale, and promoting team success. My certification as an executive coach through the Neuroleadership Institute equips me to guide seasoned professionals in realizing their leadership potential.
Personally, my 35-year marriage and long-term friendships highlight my capacity for nurturing relationships, a trait I carry into my professional life, maintaining long-term client connections. My love for teaching, nature, and cultural exploration harmonizes with my professional ethos, while my participation in an international pickleball tournament in Lima, Peru, highlights my zest for new challenges, enriching my approach to leadership and personal growth. My journey is about guiding leaders to embrace their strengths and lead with authenticity, driving positive change and well-being within their organizations.
